This sounds more like a Let's Play to me, but if it's a character distinct from the creator and there's an actual narrative behind it as well (ie there's a reason why they're doing it in-universe), it would fall under Web video maybe?

Some context… I came upon this Goddess of Victory: NIKKE channel, "Goddess of Drip: Nikke
", which has the characters of the game playing mostly Halo Infinite and razzing on each other. The voices are done with text to speech AI.
