Signature, schmignature!The transformation scene in American Werewolf in London:
Link: "In Termina, when I was turned into Deku Link"
Mario: "In Grass Land, when a raccoon tail grew out of my ass"
Dumbo: "In a circus, all thanks to a feather"
Blossom: "In Townsville, when I was born!"
One of Matilda's classmates: I have no idea, it just happened! I thought I was done for when Trunchbull threw me through the window!"
(You have to scroll down a little bit in the comments section to find it)
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300It reminds me of a group of around 4-7 people, walking down a residential neighborhood road, all in scrappy partially torn clothing, wielding things like bats, old guns and kitchen knives, and they're walking down the road with the sun just under the horizon towards night, where the sky is starting to get dark and clouds get that ominous orange hazy glow to them.
It's not clear where they're going, or who they might be about to take on, but they all have a tired, miserable, but determined look on their face, like they know what they're about to do absolutely has to be done, otherwise their lives simply cannot continue.
That potent mix of misery, futility, and strong, almost heroic determination in the song is quite beautiful, and I love hearing that part of it every time.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Un being one, Ace. A sense of urgency and dread in this song. It reminds me of how quick he is to anger when showing his true side. Also to have such a quick paced and anxiety inducing song fits his character as well once you find out how terrible and evil he actually is.
To go back to my other example, septenary game. That song kinda has a mysterious vibe to it. Like something is going on, not necessarily sinister but a little bit confusing. Since Seven has amnesia, kinda fits perfectly. Also with the ambiguity of the truth about his memories in the true ending, the mystery about him still kinda remains.
Binary Game is serene and contemplative like Snake, but also melancholy, which fits his injury-inflicted blindness and his involvement in the first nonary game;
Ternary Game has a sense of urgency, much like Santa's goal to save his sister, and also a bit tense, reflecting how he's one of the more ruthless and unpredictable characters;
Quaternary Game is energetic and frantic, reflecting Clover's own energy and cheeriness, and the slight mood shift from the new instruments towards the end of theme sounds like how lost she feels without Snake.
Quinary Game is the slowest and most contemplative theme IMO, with a hint of anxiety too. Fits with the player being privy to all of Junpei's thoughts as the MC, his concern for Akane, and his fear of the nonary game;
Senary Game (my personal fave) is an odd combination of upbeat, pensive, and intense. All of them describe Akane/June: her outward bubbliness, her craftiness as Zero, and the sheer preparedness she had in engineering the nonary game and the deaths of the first game's creators;
Octal Game starts off beautiful and kind of spiritual, reflecting Lotus' outward appearance (physically attractive and middle-eastern-inspired clothes/accessories), but transitions into a more pensive and almost sinister theme, reflecting her true calculating nature and her expressed willingness to sacrifice others for the greater good;
Lastly, Nonary Game is fearful, abrupt and intense, with a distinct feeling of getting close to the end. The 9th Man (can't be bothered to remember his real name lol) was the most panicked out of all the participants, endangered everyone with his actions in the beginning, and was also the only one to die, plus his identity isn't revealed until near the end of the game. It also sounds rather robotic, reflecting his scientist background.
